Until 2014, Daniel was CEO of Environmental Waste International (TSXV: EWS), with a patented microwave technology that breaks down organic matter into valuable by-products. Prior to EWS he was CEO of ENTECH-REM, with an Australian low temperature waste gasification technology. Until 2007, Dr. Kaute was President of Plasmatreat North America. He was pivotal in establishing Plasmatreat®’s patented Plasma Technology in America, with acquisition of key accounts like Boeing, Ford, Harley Davidson, Magna, and Medtronic. Prior to joining Plasmatreat® in 1999, he set up and ran Danone's manufacturing operations in Russia. Daniel studied engineering at Ecole Centrale de Paris (FR), and University of Stuttgart (GER). He received his Ph.D. in materials engineering at Cambridge University, UK. He is fluent in English, French, German and Russian.
