About Kevin Boutilier

Kevin Boutilier is the Clean Energy Specialist with the Halifax Regional Municipality. After receiving a Bachelor of Engineering degree in 2013, Kevin began working in the renewable energy industry, gaining knowledge of solar energy system design, feasibility, installation and operation. For nearly five years, Kevin worked at a local solar energy company where he held the position of Project Manager, leading the design and installation of residential and commercial photovoltaic and solar thermal systems. In his current position as Clean Energy Specialist, Kevin is responsible for the successful delivery of the Solar City Program as well as developing new clean energy policies and programs. Kevin uses his experience and passion of clean energy to educate and lead the community in reducing their carbon footprint.
