About David Brushett

David Brushett studied Mechanical Engineering at Dalhousie University and has been working in the clean energy/energy efficiency industry for the last 10 years. David serves as the board chair of Solar Nova Scotia and as a director Nova Scotia’s successful solar community economic development investment fund, Solar Scotia Energy. Solar Scotia Energy has raised over $2.4 Million on three successful public offerings. In addition David works for Efficiency Nova Scotia and serves as the On-site Energy Manager for Halifax Regional Municipality where he works to achieve HRM’s corporate green house gas emission and energy reduction goals. David previously worked as the Energy Manager for Cape Breton Regional Municipality and helped cut its energy costs by 20% over a 4 year period.
